UPDATE 6/24/21: We are delighted to announce that New York City’s program to vaccinate New Yorkers—and our partnership to deliver those vaccines in the home—has expanded to include anyone age 12 and older. The in-home vaccination program is free to all residents of the five boroughs and is supported entirely through the New York City Vaccine Command Center.

UPDATE 5/27/21: Zeel’s partnership with the City of New York to provide free, in-home vaccinations to NYC residents and their caregivers has expanded to include anyone over the age of 75, individuals with a disability, and residents of under-vaccinated residential buildings. We’re proud to announce that Zeel has partnered with the New York City Vaccine Command Center to vaccinate thousands of homebound individuals across the city. This lifesaving program is free to qualified homebound individuals and their caregivers as a city-supported service.

Since the program kicked off in early April, Zeel has contacted thousands of homebound New Yorkers and vaccinated as many as 200 people per day, thanks to the incredible dedication of our network of nurses and other healthcare providers.

“Vaccinating our city’s most vulnerable has inspired our entire team,” said Samer Hamadeh, Zeel’s CEO and co-founder. “Our goal is to continue until every homebound individual in the city is fully vaccinated and then to return to them if a booster becomes necessary in the fall.”
Dr. Robert Peters, Zeel’s Chief Medical Officer praised the commitment of the healthcare workers in the Zeel provider network. “The nurses have been working around the clock. Our front-line workers were the heroes during the pandemic, and for Zeel, they are the heroes of this vaccination program.” Zeel expects to vaccinate up to 8,000 individuals between now and late summer.
