Zeel is excited to introduce a new way for spas to easily book massage therapists when they’re needed most—offering more flexible work opportunities for therapists like you! This new “self-serve” function allows spas to book therapists for single-day staffing projects without setting up a traditional enterprise partnership on the Zeel Spa platform.
Spas with a short-term staffing need can book online in minutes, generating more requests for the MTs in the Zeel network. The booking, request, and payment process is similar to the Zeel@Work booking experience you may already be familiar with.
With the introduction of this new feature, therapists will now see two different types of spa block requests in the Zeel Provider App:
- Standard spa blocks
- Flat-rate spa blocks
How Are Flat-Rate Spa Blocks Different?
Here are the key differences between traditional spa blocks and the new flat-rate spa block:

| The spa reports any tips paid by guests via credit card through their enterprise account, which are passed on to the therapist by Zeel. | If guests pay any additional gratuity, the spa is responsible for transferring it directly to the therapist. |
How Do Flat Rate Spa Block Requests Differ in the App?

The first thing you’ll notice is that flat-rate spa block requests have a fixed payment amount, while standard spa block requests show the projected pay amount, based on the minimum guarantee and the likely treatment volume for the block.
